What kinds of goods can you ship?+
We transport a wide range of goods, from personal parcels to professional equipment. This includes personal effects, vehicles, pallets, groupage, full (FCL) or shared (LCL) containers.
Which geographical areas do you deliver to?+
We serve in particular: North and South America, the French Caribbean (Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin, Saint-Barthélemy), French Guiana, Haiti and many French-speaking African countries. We can also deliver to other destinations; contact us for a free quote.
Can I ship a vehicle or a boat?+
Yes, HGWF Cargo ships running and non-running vehicles, construction machinery and boats (in a container or by ro-ro). We advise you on the procedure and customs formalities.
Do you offer home pick-up?+
Yes, we can arrange collection from your home anywhere in mainland France, on request.
How do I track my shipment?+
Our teams provide personalised follow-up. You can contact us at any time for up-to-date information on the progress of your shipment.
Which documents do I need to ship a parcel or container?+
You generally need to provide: an identity document, an invoice or declaration of value, and an inventory for personal effects. Our teams help you put together the complete file.
Are any goods prohibited?+
Yes, some goods are regulated or prohibited: explosives, gases, radioactive materials, certain chemicals, weapons, protected species, waste… with possible local restrictions. Contact us before shipping and we will check feasibility.
What are the average delivery times?+
Transit times with our partner shipping lines vary by destination:
- French Caribbean and Guiana: around 3 to 5 weeks from Le Havre or Fos/Marseille
- Caribbean (Haiti, Dominican Republic): around 4 to 6 weeks
- North America (United States, Canada): depending on rotation, contact us
- South America: depending on rotation, contact us
- Africa and Indian Ocean: varies by destination

What is the difference between groupage and a full container?+
Groupage (LCL): several customers share one container, billed by volume (cubic metre). Full container (FCL): the whole container is reserved for your shipment; you pay for the full container.
Do you offer groupage?+
Yes, we offer sea groupage to share shipping costs — ideal for individuals or SMEs without enough volume to fill a full container.
How is the price calculated for sea groupage (LCL)?+
The transport cost is calculated by volume (cubic metre). Add up the size of each of your parcels (length × width × height). Tip: measure at the widest point, such as bulging boxes or pallets.

What is a “last voyage” container?+

Of course! We offer used containers for sale. Ask us for a quote, stating the size you want and the delivery address.
